Application to Cancel Enrolment - International Students

Use this form if you wish to apply to cancel your enrolment at CHC and you have not yet commenced your course, or you wish to cancel your enrolment prior to the census date of the first semester of your study.

If you have already commenced your course but wish to cancel your enrolment after the census date of your first semester of study, please use the Advice of Withdrawal form.

Inernational students’ enrolment will be cancelled only in cases that meet the requirements of ‘special circumstances’ as defined in CHC Policy: Cancellation of Enrolment for Overseas Students.

You will be informed in writing of the outcome of your application to the email address provided below.

Please note that a Cancellation of Enrolment fee applies, as declared in the Administrative Fees schedule on the CHC website.

If your application to cancel your enrolment is approved, CHC will cancel your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and record your release from the course in PRISMS.

If your application is approved, you might be eligible for a refund of unspent tuition fees. Applications are assessed against the provisions of CHC Policy: Refunds for Overseas Students and the relevant Administrative Fees schedule to determine eligibility for, and the amount of, any refund that is to be paid. If you think you meet the requirements for a refund as outlined in these documents, please download and complete the Application for Refund – Overseas Students form. Please note that cancelling your enrolment does not automatically mean that you are eligible for a refund.

If your application to cancel your enrolment is not approved, a release will not be recorded in PRISMS and you will be expected to commence your course on the agreed day. If you do not commence your course as agreed, you will default on your Written Agreement and will be reported to the Department of Education and Training.

If you application is not approved, you may access CHC Policy: Grievances for Overseas Students.

As you will no longer be on a student visa, CHC will cancel your CoE.

If your new visa has no limitations on study, you are still able to enrol at CHC but without the conditions that apply to a student visa. This means that you can have much more flexibility with your studies, such as enrolling part-time and/or externally.

Do you wish to undertake any study at CHC?

Further information will be sent to you about how to complete your enrolment.
